Probably one of the first waves to be discovered after Kuta beach and Kuta reef. It has got this name because of the proximity with the airport.

  Upon arrival at Bali, from the plane´s window is possible to know if there is waves.

Best conditions:
Medium swell with medium to high tide and E.S.E. winds (offshore).

Localization:
The wave of airport rights is situated at only a few hundred yards to the south of the airport´s runway.

Type of wave:
A right hander that can go for a 100 yards or more if conditions are right producing a good wall for maneuver.

Access:
The only way to get to this wave is by a long paddle or by one of the many little boats that do the crossing by Kuta reef that can be arranged at the beach in front of this break.

Crowd factor:
If the swell is small there will be a little crowd but nothing unusual.

Infraestructure:
You are 5 min. from Kuta, total infrastructure.

Tips:
This is the most distant of the spots in this area and it takes a bit longer for the boats to make the crossing. Make sure to have your return organized and don´t save sunscreen.
