BALI, latest news…waiting for a perfect swell!!
After returning from the Mentawaii  we had several days of small and medium waves with good conditions but unfortunately the weather is strange still, winds alternating often for several days and many nights with strong rain showers...and the last swells with a little more size that we had on the island were accompanied by strong winds and unstable weather...we are  still waiting for the first solid swell with perfect conditions...

At least at Uluwatu we now have "The Edge" bar of my local friend Made Lana who became the official hang out of the surfing crew and of the best looking girls in the area...many stories after the surf sessions of the region together with the coldest Bintangs on the Island and lots of fun until the sunset and sometimes even later at night now bring one more option for the best surfing beach on the island.

We also had some dinners cooked by my friend Cacho who has not finished rebuilding his restaurant yet and is working offering cathering at people's homes. With a minimum group of 10 people at a price of Rp. 100 000 per person, Cacho takes his team and cooks his traditional Mexican food or fish barbecue of Mahi-Mahi with organic salads to leave anyone dribbling...also he prepares the best Margaritas on the island at  extra cost.

Besides that we had the World Cup action which got the Sky Garde and Junior's restaurant in Uluwatu packed where the crowd was watching the games but this story is past!

And as always we have our countryman Hugo pumping the best Brazilian traditional dish, the PF right on the Bingin hill, the best cost / benefit of the region and an excellent food to recharge the batteries after surf with that Brazilian flavor.

That is it, I would like to say we're having a great season of perfect waves but unfortunately I can not be so optimistic...Right now we are waiting for another swell that seems to have great potential...if it materializes as is showing on the forecast sites it will probably be the biggest swell of the season so far...now is about praying for the winds to be wright and not too strong and wait and see...whoever is on the island will know soon...

ALOHA!!
