One of the favorite waves of the japanese, there
are people who claim this is the longest wave of Bali.
Best
conditions:
Medium to big swell with incoming tide and no winds (dawn
patrol) as the trades hit side shore here. It´s a lot
less consistent than others spots in the island.
Localization:
At about 2 hours from Kuta on the way to Tabanam 1 hour after
Balian.
Type of wave:
Long lefts that run close to the rocks and produce good sections
for maneuvers but without barrels. It´s a very long
wave but with not much power.
Access:
By the main road that goes to Tabanam and has a good signalization.
Crowd factor:
Because of it´s distance to Kuta, rarely gets crowded.
Most surfed by balineses and japaneses.
Infraestructure:
Righ in front of the point there are 2 hotels with good restaurants
at a very reasonable prices. One has got swimming pool, rooms
with AC, phone, Tv, etc.
Tips:
If the swell is at a good size is a good opportunity to escape
the crowds, come here and spend a few nights.
