Best conditions:
Big south swell over 6 feet with W.SW. winds (onshore at Uluwatu)
and medium to high tide.
Localization:
On the west coast of Bali, past Serangan.
Type of wave:
Long and perfect rights with two barrel sections and a fast
inside that can close out on a shallow and sharp reef if the
tide gets too low.
Access:
By the By Pass road, past Makro and follow the signs, turn
right on the second traffic light.
Crowd Factor:
Because it´s one of the best waves of Bali and it only
breaks during the rain season (nov. till mar.), the Sanur
locals are very jealous with their wave and can get real violent
if they feel disrespected.
Infraestructure:
There is a very good infraestructure in the area with excellent
hotels and restaurants close to the beach right in front of
the point.
Tips:
Pay attention to the last section of the wave as the tide
start to run out because the reef will get very shallow and
is razor sharp. Never arrive in big groups making noise and
above all respect the locals.
