TICKETS
- Before buying a ticket to Bali is always good to make a research
amongst the biggest travel agencies in your area and in the internet.
- Don´t forget to ask your travel agent about the mileage
given on each
route. Sometimes, in some cases of Code share flights, the mileage
can not be registered.
• PASSPORT
- Make sure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months
after the date booked for your departure from Indonesia.
- Take yellow fever vaccination before going to Indonesia. It´s
also recommended to check the validity of your vaccination for
tetanus.
• VISA
"Indonesia grant tourist visa valid for 30 days upon arrival
to all the citizens of countries that don't need to apply for
this type of visa. The tourist visa cost US$ 25,00 (twenty five
dollars) to be paid at the airport before entering the country.
*The
validity of this visa on arrival is 30 days and can not be used
as any type of document of permission from the immigration.
• INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT OF DENPASAR
- Remember that now the maximum allowance of surfboards per passenger
when arriving in Bali is 3 surfboards or you will have to pay
up to USD 100,00 per extra board depending on your bargaining
skills and luck. Usually USD 50,00 is enough.
- On the flight to Bali you will be given a small white card from
the immigration officers to fill out. Half of this card will be
given back to you after you receive your permission to enter Indonesia.
Keep it safe as you will need it when you are leaving.

prisioners of the penitentiary system of the country.- Don't take
risks!!"
- Change as less money as possible in the airport as the exchange
rates are better in town.
-When leaving the terminal you will be surrounded by people trying
to rent you a transport. There are public telephones outside and
also taxis with negotiable prices. Bargaining is a must.
•
WHAT TO BRING
- International driving license. Can also be made in Bali with 1
month validity for about 10 to 15 US dollars.
- Comfortable and light clothes (high season) also sunglasses, hats,
sandals, etc.
- Lots of sunscreen and lip balm.
- A good quiver of surfboards, the bigger ones with extra volume
for quick paddling and also a good quiver of legropes.
REMEMBER:
Helmets, booties, wax and accessories in general can be bought in
Bali for a cheaper price. There are also used surfboards and accessories
for sale at many places in Kuta and Uluwatu. Small used surfboards
in good conditions are very easy to sell.
